25 July 2017
The Marriage’s 3 Peak team completed the 3 Peaks Challenge this week, 23rd/24th July 2017. Climbing Ben Nevis at 1,344m, Scafell Pike at 978m and Snowdon at 1,085m.
The aim was to climb all 3 of these peaks in JUST 24 HOURS! This challenge was not only very physically demanding but took a lot of determination and support from others to complete.
The reason behind our latest adventure was to help fundraise for Robin Marshall who works for us at Marriage’s but sadly suffered a heart attack while at work and is now facing a long period of recovery. Robin is a keen walker and cyclist and the first to put his hand up to help anyone when they need it. We aim to raise as much money as possible with this challenge to donate to him and his family at this very difficult time.
The Marriage’s A team who accepted the challenge:
Sam Marriage, Nina Tant, Clive Tant, Gemma Gale, Royston Mould, Robin Brierley, Matthew Hood, Sarah Drayton, Matt Stones, James Jesney, Michael Coxon, Harry Solomon
